What are QR Codes?

QR codes, or Quick Response codes, are a simple way of connecting people to digital information. By scanning a QR code with a smartphone camera, users can quickly open a website or other online resource without having to manually type in a URL. QR codes are commonly used on posters, advertisements, packaging, menus and other printed materials. They provide an easy link between physical and digital media, allowing audiences to access additional information almost instantly.

For this activity, I created my own QR code that links directly to the home page of my professional blog. This gives visitors a quick and convenient way to access my work simply by scanning the code with their phone.
